Job description SUMMARY: Perform floral quality inspections. Ensure product meets company quality specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Inspections of flowers during vase life test · Keeping records · Taking photos · Cleaning vases · Keeping the vase life test room clean and organized · Email reports to managers as required QUALIFICATIONS to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. · Ability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 11:00am · Ability to work in a refrigerated environment occasionally · Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. · Ability to follow directions. · Ability to communicate effectively. · Ability to work effectively and relate well with others. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to converse in English and Spanish. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
