Description
Hey, actually had some luck on here piecing together a country band so far, so figured we'd give it another shot...
If you can hold down some country/honky tonk/alt country rhythm keyboard, you could potentially be a great fit for the trio (drums, bass, lead guitar/vocals) that we have going, currently.
By no means required, but if you felt comfortable trading-off some songs on keyboard for lead (or rhythm guitar) with the singer, that'd be killer.
Covers include groove-heavy 70s outlaw stuff; originals are closer, lyrically and in spirit, to Townes/Guy Clark/Prine.
Singer/songwriter has been getting established in Georgia/south east over the past five years, so the band will have gigs available as soon as the songs and the feel are down.
Band is currently dudes, ranging in age from thirties to forties, but any age/race/ethnicity/gender welcome as long as you want to play.
Practices are weekly (when possible--everyone is married and has families so we understand that stuff comes up) and split the difference between fun and professional.
