The Manufacturing Academy at Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC) is a six-week/200 hour training program for individuals interested in working as a CNC Machine Operator with a manufacturing company. The complimentary program is funded through the U.S. Department of Labor and is aimed to provide free job training to displaced/dislocated (unemployed) individuals. Classes meet in person, Monday through Friday at LAVC's Machine Shop in the Engineering Bldg. Training begins on Thursday, January 27, 2022.
