Jessup Auto Plaza is currently looking for a Spanish speaking Automotive Service Advisor. We offer excellent compensation as well as monthly bonus opportunities based on performance. General Motors experience is preferred, but not required. You will be responsible for service, sales, gross profit, and for proper handling of our service customers. Your customer service expertise and selling skills will influence the volume of service business and play a key role in insuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities are but not limited to: • Greet customer in a timely, friendly manner, let customers who are waiting in line know that they will be helped soon • Schedule appointments • Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem • Obtain customer and vehicle data • Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications, using maintenance menus • If additional work is needed, explain the details to the customer, including the additional cost and time consideration • Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments, and return phone messages promptly • Follow-up progress of each repair order during the day • Refer leads and prospects for vehicle sales to the Sales Department • Attend additional service training products Automotive Service Advisor Requirements: • One or more years of experience in Automotive Industry (Required) • Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook) • High School Diploma or higher, automotive training a plus • Stable career with previous employers • Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks (MVR, drug test) If you find yourself looking for a great opportunity as a Service Advisor in a fantastic organization with a great schedule and phenomenal pay and benefits, submit your resume immediately for consideration.
