LETTER FOUR, INC. is an established design-build firm in Culver City, CA. We offer licensed architectural and general contracting services to address the diverse goals of our clients. We are seeking an individual to fill our open construction laborer position. This individual will be responsible for performing basic tasks under the guidance and supervision of a site Foreman, will assist tradesmen such as carpenters, concrete workers, demolition experts, drywallers, cement finishers, and roofers on construction sites. This individual is also responsible for performing any/all tasks as requested by the construction Project Manager, Foreman, and General Contractor. Duties include but not limited to: Assist in building and/or alteration of residential and commercial structures Participate in demolition Mix/move sand and stucco materials Assist with all daily jobsite work Dig trenches Gather materials for workers to handle job sites Erect concrete forms Mix and pour concrete Assist in the install of prehung door and window units Every Laborer must follow safe work practices: Knowing and understanding requirements of OSHA Always wear appropriate safety gear Participate in safety toolbox meetings Tell Site Foreman of any jobsite hazards Maintain clean job sites, Always! Cut/install insulation Cut lumber to specified dimensions Hold lumber and paneling in place for fastening or cutting Assist in layout of foundation, building lines and anchor bolt Install trims and cabinets Unload and load materials and debris safley Clean up job sites regularly The information in this description is designed to present the most essential job duties necessary to achieve the job’s end results.
