Hello, My name is Jeff, I'm looking to organize a bluegrass picking party for weekend fun. I play guitar, a little banjo and dobro as well as sing a bit. I'm looking to have a group of pickers consisting of fiddle, banjo, acoustic bass, mandolin and perhaps another guitarist. any vocal ability is a plus. I have a studio in Pleasant Hill that can fit 5 people comfortably. I'm thinking we can use the Mel Bay's Parking Lot picker book to preselect songs before the picking party. Then we just show up, play the tunes and have fun. I have a couple of music stands that we can use as well. Saturday at 2pm would work for me. If your interested please contact me, thanks for looking!
