We have a maintenance helper position open immediately. Applicants must have some general maintenance experience and the understanding on how maintenance works. This position needs someone that is hands on and willing to learn, dedicated, able to be on time and to work with an on call rotation of weekends and holidays. Job brief We are looking for a Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional, following the PM schedule set by our team. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. Responsibilities Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues Install equipment Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and PM's Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems Check functionality of safety systems Collaborate with workers and other professionals during Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues Requirements: Proven experience as a maintenance/helper Basic knowledge of motors, conveyors, electrical systems and industrial saw equipment Experience using hand and electrical tools Ability to read technical manuals and drawings Very good communication and interpersonal skills Physical stamina and dexterity High school diploma or equivalent Successful completion of an apprenticeship is required Any experience welding is a plus Come in fill out application today Start tomorrow
