Job Responsibilities: Transfers and processes outbound shipments under Customer specified product packaging instructions and requirements Able to travel from Carson City to California as needed through weigh scales Verifies number of units / products received and checks for any type of damaging or potential quality issue during transfer from Production Prepares shipments based on schedule Observes proper material handling and ESD requirements Ensures units / products are properly labeled Determines and takes initiative to utilize the appropriate and cost-saving method of shipment other than specified customer requirement Checks Sales Order information Maintains clean and safe working environment Maintains records of all transfers/deliveries and shipments Operates Company equipment / vehicles in safe manner and in accordance of Rocket EMS policies and guidelines Education & Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent / 1-2 years of related shipping experience Skills: Must have valid Driver’s license and good driving record to operate Company vehicle Ability to get certified and operate forklift Possess knowledge in Domestic and International including Commercial invoice generation Proficiency in using shipping systems such as UPS Worldwide, FedEx Ship, including Manex Ability to balance workload with accuracy and efficiency Ability to work under pressure in a very fast pace environment Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to accomplish the task Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
