Johnny Junk Recycling LLC is looking for a motivated and reliable employee. Job Description · Have knowledge and ability to identify Ferrous & Non-Ferrous Metals. · Work with the public unloading, buying and inspecting scrap and junk vehicles. · Hand sorting and unloading material from trailers – unload junk vehicles from trailers with forklift · Ability to operate forklift, skid steer/bobcat · Freon removal from appliances - Cleaning, sweeping, and other housekeeping duties as needed. · Maintain communication with crew members while observing details. · Comply with company and client policies and procedures. · Support a zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability for safe work practices in all projects, activities and operations. · Other duties as required. · Business Hours are Monday through Saturday (7:45am to 5:15pm) and Sunday’s (9:45am to 3:15pm) (Closed on Sunday's for Winter Hours) - Scheduled during these hours Requirements · Manufacturing environment, must be 18 to operate machines. · Able to work in all weather and temperature environments. · Must be able to work in a team environment. · Is able to read and write English fluently · Walk, sit, stand and climb ladders/stairs frequently · Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. · Vision abilities (with correction) include close, distance, peripheral, depth and the ability to adjust focus. · Must wear all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required while working throughout facility **Part time - up to 29 hours a week, with weekend availability** The statements included in this job description are not intended to be all-inclusive.
