Do you like fixing things?  Are you a problem - solver? Are you good with repair?  Elderwood at Burlington is looking for you!  FT Maintenance Assistant Position Available in Burlington, VT. Our Maintenance Assistant team members at Elderwood assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing maintenance support. This position is responsible for ensuring resident and staff safety by being responsible for repairs to the buildings and furnishings, electrical and plumbing work as well as up-keep of the grounds including lawn care and snow/ice removal, Flexibility for on-call work required. Maintenance Assistant Qualifications: Minimum 18 yrs. age required, HS diploma or equivalent preferred. Related work experience required. References to verify competency required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred. Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required for occasional driving of company bus. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions required. Computer knowledge for data entry, work orders. Elderwood expects all current and new employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. If hired, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination. Employees may request a medical exemption from vaccination.
