SCAD seeks an experienced support maintenance technician to join its team in Atlanta. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the event setups and breakdowns, furniture and art moves, basic maintenance tasks (e.g. changing light bulbs, assembling furniture, etc.), and minor maintenance repairs, among other duties. The qualified candidate has experience with basic maintenance and repairs and is able to follow directions. The ability to respond to project changes and assignments quickly and positively is vital, as is the ability to pass a motor vehicle report run by SCAD/its insurance. Previous experience with logistics preferred. Requirements High school education or general education degree (GED) or one to three months of related experience Experience with basic maintenance and repairs Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT medical exam Able to lift up to 90 pounds To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
