My name is Jeff Myers & I recently moved to the Madison area from Ohio. I have been a professional drummer/percussionist for many years and am looking to play/perform for any group or organization in the immediate area that has need. The types of groups I have performed for in the past include Dixieland, Jazz, Classic Rock, Big Bands, Small Combos, Musical Theater, String Orchestras, Concert Wind Bands are among the many groups I've been associated with over the years. I don't limit myself to any particular style. Making music for others to enjoy is what I do. I also have a Master's Degree in Percussion performance and was a music teacher in Ohio for over 25 years. I enjoy performing, am a good listener, and am adapt at playing with sticks, brushes, or mallets. If you use printed charts, I am also an excellent reader/sight-reader.
