We are located on the near-west side of Chicago and have an ASSEMBLY position available in our manufacturing area with some general warehouse work. Job duties will include:
• Assembling with precision! Your primary duty will be assembling the framework for large-format projection screens using aluminum tubing. You will need to punch holes, install rivets, rivnuts, stencil, all to exacting specifications.
• You may train in Processing Orders: including packing large projection screens with supporting structure, properly folded in protective material, and in proper order; providing shipping information (weight and dimensions); preparing shipping labels and information; following shipping instructions from the rental manager.
• General warehouse/labor which may include checking screens/gear in and out, returning all screens/gear to its proper place, clean and ready for the next rental, maintaining a clean warehouse, and loading/unloading trucks.
We will train a motivated candidate to do the work required. Welding skills are a plus.
You will need good organizational skills; must be able to read work orders and write legibly; must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly. After hire, you will be required to obtain a CDL C (small truck).
