Seeking Part Time Facilities Team Member at a great place to work adjacent to UCLA. Become an appreciated member of our 16 person staff team with a culture of respect and gratitude. Primary Job Duties: Janitorial/maintenance, part-time hours on weekends (with occasional work during the week, schedule permitting). Setting up for events and meetings (moving chairs, tables, etc.) and responding to the needs of staff and event/meeting organizers Maintaining staff offices and libraries (including painting, cleaning, replacing trash cans/bags, etc.) Daily property walk through to clean up and ensure property is in impeccable condition. Ability to recommend solutions and new ideas. Cleaning restrooms i.e (mopping floors, toilets, sinks, replacing toilet tissue/paper towels etc) Completion of daily status report Experience: Must have at least two years of experience in building operations, janitorial, facilities experience, or equivalent. Position is part time, 6-16 hours a week, mostly on weekends. Possible additional hours may become available during the week. Good communication skills including proficiency in English. This position regularly requires standing and lifting or moving items up to 75 pounds in addition to occasional bending, climbing of ladders, etc. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a criminal background check Available to start immediately.
