We are a small, custom closet/cabinet/ custom furniture maker in North Hollywood. We focus on higher-end builds for contractors and private clients. We are looking for a carpenters assistant/journeyman to support our growing business. This is an opportunity to learn skills on the job and in the shop to advance yourself OR for someone with experience in cabinetry and carpentry who is looking for work. What we're looking for: Reliability Conversation level English Basic knowledge of Carpentry Must be able to operate basic power tools Shop organization Picking up supplies Reliable transportation to and from work Clean driving record Painting Demo Trim and molding work Spraying and finishing Basic / intermediate computer skills. Pay and benefits review after 3 months. Full-time position, 8:30 - 4:30. Must be willing to work overtime if there is a deadline that requires it. This happens from time to time.
