We are looking for candidates for a full-time day porter at an animal hospital. This position is under the direction of the chief facilities director. This will be a great long-term position for the right person. Start time is 7:00am to 4:30pm and possibly weekends. The position will consist of but not limited to the following duties, general cleaning and maintaining the entire facility. To include garbage collection, compactor operation, maintaining the restrooms, inventory and restocking all supplies, maintaining the outside grounds and parking lot, cleaning glass vision panels, operating a walk behind scrubber, work in coordination with chief facilities director on all jobs, coordination with outside sub-contractors, changing light bulbs, minor repairs and maintaining other amenities. This job requires punctuality, attention to detail, a neat and clean professional appearance, able to deal with the staff and general public in a friendly and professional fashion. All applicants must be fluent in English, be a US citizen, valid driver's license, must have their own reliable vehicle, able to work with tools when needed. Experience a plus in this field. Starting rate is $15.00 per hour. Other benefits can be discussed after probationary period ends.
