L.L.Bean Fly Tying Series. Class meets on 2nd floor of Hunting & Fishing Store. Week Four Partridge and Green (wet fly). The Partridge and Green is a sparsely tied wet fly that uses only a few materials, but is highly effective. Partridge feathers add a lot of movement to the fly once in the water, imitating the legs of hatching insects. Drift it, swing it or hang it off the back of a dry fly and get ready for a strike! For the health and safety of all, we are encouraging event attendees to wear masks regardless of vaccination status and to use the hand sanitizing stations we have on site. Masks will be available. Please practice social distancing by keeping six feet apart. If you are not feeling well, have Covid-19 symptoms or have been in contact with someone experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, we ask that you please stay home.
