Kauai Juice Co is looking for a new team member! We are seeking a professional and energetic person to work alongside an awesome dedicated team of individuals! You must be able to work well by yourself or with a team, have a positive attitude, and come ready to work in a fun and fast paced environment. BASICS OF THE POSITION We are looking to fulfill a full time time position ( 40 hours per week ) Hours of work are Monday thru Friday 7am-4pm You will need to have a skill set to input data and use a computer quickly and efficiently to ship orders, maintain our website, write emails to our online customers, and monitor inventory at our retail shops. You will need to be able to consistently lift 40-60 pounds of produce thru out the day when you receive inventory from our farmers. You will be overseeing everything that comes into our warehouse as well as everything that leaves our warehouse. Efficiency and problem solving are very important in this position. PRIMARY DUTIES AND PROJECTS INCLUDE: SHIPPING - As a member of the Kauai Juice Co Shipping Department, one area of responsibility is promptly preparing, packaging, and shipping merchandise sold, ordered, purchased, or otherwise fulfilled through kauaijuiceco.com website channels while providing first class customer service by ensuring efficient, safe, and professional packaging, shipping, and receiving of various items. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, costing and descriptions of all merchandise on Kauai Juice Co’s Website. Coordinate with all departments to fulfill specific and ongoing inventory and shipping needs Maintain excellent service by following organization standards of quality, and national standards of shipping best-practices. Constantly monitor shipping costs to ensure Kauai Juice Co is charging the appropriate, accurate and fair shipping charges. Ensure a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and company regulations. Work in other Kauai Juice Co departments as needed and appropriate to maintain knowledge and relationships necessary for efficient and effective operation. Fill all customer orders with accuracy and timeliness. Pack sold items properly and ship on a timely basis per policy. Promptly update the Kauai Juice Co website with product information, outages, new items, and price changes. Use shipping software to organize and prioritize shipping activities Suggest solutions for process optimization and streamlining of shipping practices, technology updates and packaging improvements Identify shipping issues and implement solutions in a timely manner RECIEVING - You will be constantly monitoring all produce and items arriving into our warehouse. Once received it is up to you to record and organize all items to ensure freshness and quality. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Has a passion for the work, products and mission of Kauai Juice Co.! Is able to maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times. You are able to follow directions and complete projects in a timely and efficient matter You have have excellent organizational skills You have strong computer skills including Google applications You are able to comfortably lift 60 pounds You are comfortable with repetition You have a valid driver's license and no major traffic violations (DUIs, etc) You have at least three positive on island references, with phone numbers Excellent problem solving skills Starting pay is at $22 for the above. If you have any of the below skills higher pay is negotiable.
