With the holidays right around the corner, it is the perfect time to learn how to make your own alcohol ink ornament! You can add it to your tree, gift it to a loved one or hang it as décor somewhere else in your home! This course will teach you the basics of alcohol ink and how it translates onto a ceramic surface. You’ll get a chance to practice before making your ornament so that you can explore fun colors and different drying techniques!
This event will include complimentary practice surfaces, an ornament, and access to shared supplies.

Jessica Lopez-Enriquez is an Alexandria, Virginia based alcohol ink artist and owner of The Gorilla and the Pig. Jessica has been a maker since she was very little and over time has focused on abstract art. Abstract art with alcohol ink really takes into account your environment and mood so it is a great way to connect with yourself and your experiences. Jessica also holds a masters degree in clinical mental health and is a full time child and adolescent trauma therapist.
