Production Technician (Clean Room) 1st and 2nd Shift Opportunity - Temp to Hire $17-$21 per hour. Email today receive a call back within 2 hours! The Production Technical will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced manufacturing equipment used in the production of the companies Medical Device - Surgical products. This position requires mechanical aptitude, technical ability, equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and the willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: • Perform equipment setup, operation, and basic daily/weekly preventative maintenance tasks such as routine cleaning/inspection/lubrication of equipment. • Perform any fault clearing and clear stoppages on automated equipment. • Utilize human-machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify and correct shifts in process control. • Maintain adequate raw material supply and ensure raw material is prepared correctly. • Complete job in a timely manner to ensure on-time delivery. • Troubleshoot and identify potential solutions for mechanical errors, safety issues, or production inefficiencies. • Support new product design transfer, process development, equipment validations, and process validations. • Use measuring tools to ensure correct tolerances. • Follow standard operating procedures and all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). • Comply with policies, guidelines and safety and regulatory requirements per Lexington Medical Quality System. • Notifies Management of any discrepancies or problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials. • Maintain a clean work environment suitable for medical device manufacturing and cleanroom production. • Performs other duties as required Physical Requirements: • Ability to manipulate small hand tools and work with small mechanical parts • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arms length, stoop, kneel, and crouch. • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. • Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision. Qualifications: • Education – High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English • Well organized, detail oriented, able to work independently with minimal supervision • Familiarity with office computer programs • Machine operator and/or automated equipment technician experience strongly preferred • Medical device or other regulated industry experience a plus • Cleanroom experience a plus About the Company The company is a venture-backed company founded by a seasoned team with a proven track record, is designing and manufacturing new surgical devices to address one of the largest unmet needs in medical devices.
