Come as you are (with or without experience) for a physically distanced indoor yoga class led by Tyler Coy of Gather Yoga Cleveland. *This class will be physically distanced and mats will be spaced at least 6 feet apart. Class is limited to 9 folks + me and spots are limited to those who RSVP. Please arrive 10 minutes early and wear your mask until you arrive on your mat. As always, cues will be given verbally with NO hands-on adjustments.* If you're intimidated by costly yoga classes and yoga poses that look impossible to do, then this all-levels yoga class is for you! Tyler Coy is a registered yoga teacher and started Gather Yoga Cleveland with a mission to make yoga as accessbile as possible to everyone in Cleveland! Location: This class is held at Pilgrim Church at the corner of W 14 and Starkweather. The door will be locked and you’ll need to buzz in. Cost: This class is pay-as-you-can, free, or donation-based. Donations can be made silently to @GatherYogaCLE on Venmo or cash if preferred. What to bring: A mat if you have one (one will be provided if not)A blanket/towel/something to use as a prop if you wantA reusable water bottleDress in layersIf you’ve never done yoga, this is your chance to: Reduce stress and BREATHE!Improve quality of lifeIncrease flexibility and strengthLaughBe more presentMake friends and engage with communityDo you need to be flexible? NO! This your chance to learn how to stretch and be more flexible. Do you need to be strong? NO! Opportunity to build strength in your physical and mind body. What if I have a physical limitation that’s stressed by exercise? You are welcome. Please let Tyler know privately so he is aware. He won’t point it out to the class, but he may offer suggestions to you subtly throughout the practice. Remember, come as you are! I don’t go to church - can I still come? Absolutely!
