Explore My Plate, Food Safety, Food Show Contest, Food Challenge Contest, and much more by attending the Harris 4-H Healthy Holidays event! Tis the season to be hungry! With the holidays quickly approaching, Harris County 4-H has partnered with AgriLife Family and Community health to host Healthy Holidays 2021! Join us on Saturday, December 18th, 2021 from 8:30am to 12:00pm as we learn about MyPlate, food safety, nutrition, 4-H Food Show Contest, 4-H Food Challenge Contest, and more through fun hands on holiday activities. This holiday themed event is open to 3rd through 12th graders and only costs $5 per participant. Bring a canned food or non-perishable food item. Each item is an entry for a drawing to win a Door Prize! Invite a friend who is not in 4-H to attend this event as well! Doing this will increase your chances of winning one of our prizes! There is limited space available (30 spots), so make sure that you register soon! Attire: Holiday themed or casual!
