The training for criminal justice professionals , helpers and advocates to raise awareness about trauma & trauma informed responses. This training is co-facilitated by both law enforcement and local community partners. It is designed for anyone that is working to address the needs of individuals dealing with mental health, substance use/abuse, economic challenges or wants to improve relationships with law enforcement. The training is ideal for anyone who wants police and community relations by rebuilding trust and promoting positive engagement. We are offering the training to prepare our community to be prepared and to have a healthy and more informed criminal justice response. *The training is also useful to anyone who is on the 'front line' who wants to learn more about how crisis and stress impacts you in being a helper/healer.
