Description
Hello!! I’m really sad to say that I’ll be needing to give up my girl, Sugar. She is a rescue from Texas, approximately 3-4 years old, 35 lbs. Sugar is a Terrier + Blue Heeler mix.
She’s a sweet angel, but I’ve come to accept that she is NOT an apartment dog. She will NEED another dog and a yard in her new home. I’ll be checking for that.
Sugar dealt with some pretty severe abuse in Texas, although her past is unknown. She has the scars on her face and a broken tooth to show that. She wants to trust again and greets everyone with a wagging tail, but she is very skittish and needs a crate as a type of safe haven. She’s potty trained and leash trained, but otherwise it’s been difficult to train her because she is scared of clickers and not food motivated. Sugar also doesn’t play with toys, because she never had them when she was a puppy + growing up. This is also why it’s SO important she has another dog friend to help show her how things are done.
Not sure if this is all very rambly, but ask me any questions if any come up!! I’ll be asking for a rehoming cost, and I’d be happy to throw in the crate. :^)
