My mom passed away 2 years ago and my dads dog died last year. He is finally ready for another fur baby so he doesn't have to be alone so much. My dad is 89 with a good head on his shoulders and will spoil his new baby like you would not believe. A young dog around 15 -20 lbs that can jump up on the bed and get in the car on it's own. Potty trained is important, needs to get along with other dogs (I live next door and have a dog), sex doesn't matter, a cuddler would be great. Can't spend much and a free rescue would be better.
