Long Beach Gavel Club #11 is the place for you!We are dedicated to helping all members develop confidence and proficiency with their communication and leadership skills on a personal and professional level. By providing weekly opportunities to speak in front of a group in a number of ways, communication and leadership skills are developed. Confidence grows as you are guided in using your skills through well-organized meetings, positive feedback from peers, constructive evaluations, educational experiences, special events such as public speaking contests or guest speakers who share their expertise with us. Who can attend?Long Beach Gavel Club #11 is a community club open to EVERYONE 18 years and older who want to build confidence with their communication and leadership skills. Guests are ALWAYS welcome to attend a meeting at no cost or obligation to observe and see how our meetings are run. We have a wide variety of members in our club from professionals to students, entrepreneurs to retired. We are a diverse group with varied ages, races, and ethnicities. We're friendly, motivated people who want to improve our communication and leadership skills in a fun and supportive environment. When you decide to become a member, your semi-annual club dues are only $59. For less than 50 cents a day, you can have available to you a weekly, on-going education that will build skills, abilities and confidence.
