In search of small dog ♡

Were searching for a small male dog as a companion for our 38lb female dog. She is very choosy with other females but never had an issue with any male dogs. Would like a dog that's past the puppy stage. We do have a 5 year old. So must be okay with kids. No specific breeds. Just trying to find a pup that's no bigger than our current dog. Shes very mello and well behaved. Willing to pay a rehoming fee if the dog is vetted. We both work full time, so crate trained is a plus. Our dog is part of the family and our new addition will be too. We are located in flagler county, but willing to drive to meet the right addition. Please message me with any dogs that need a new home ♡ (I am checking shelters weekly, but haven't had any luck finding a small/medium dog who gets along with other dogs and kids.)
