A family favorite holiday event for decades, the Holiday Lighted Boat Parade returns! Petaluma has many unique features and the Petaluma River is one of its most important. A family favorite holiday event for decades, the Holiday Lighted Boat Parade returns in 2021, giving the Petaluma River a chance to shine. This year, all types of watercraft will share the spotlight with boats, perhaps leading to renaming the event the “Holiday Lighted Boat and Kayak and SUP Parade.” Stately yachts or one person stand-up-paddleboards, the spectacle of the lights reflecting off the water is a memorable way to celebrate the season. If you would like to register your boat for the Parade, register HERE. Please arrive at Marina at 5:30 for a 6:PM departure. No vessel is too small to join in the fun and everyone is welcome. Larger vessels may want to stage in the channel near the entrance of the Marina due to depth. Please monitor Channel 68 and remember the flotilla is organized from largest to smallest vessels.
