AWC has an immediate part time housekeeping position in Bakersfield CA Monday to Friday. CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting) - Surface care/cleaning. Kitchen, bathrooms, etc.. (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, clean blinds and draperies) - Waste removal (empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas) - Lift up to 30 to 50 pounds - Able to function effectively in a customer service environment Skills: • Oral Communication Skills • Customer Service • Professionalism • Positive, can- do attitude (Team Player) QUALIFICATIONS - Custodial experience preferred but not required - Familiar with safe use of basic tools/equipment and chemicals - Bilingual (Spanish) a plus COMPENSATION The starting wage for this position is 14.00 to 16.00/hr to start DOE.
