An evening of jazz and craft cocktails presented by Muffy's Basement. Join us at Muffy's Basement for an evening of jazz with vocalist Joyce Lyons, pianist Phil Aaron and bass player Gary Raynor. Listen to this talented trio of musicians while enjoying craft cocktails and nibbles in our cozy speakeasy bar. A perfect way to celebrate the holiday season. Listening session 1: 6:00pm - 7:30pm Listening session 2 : 8:00pm - 9:30-pm Muffy's Basement is the first speakeasy-style bar located in downtown Buffalo, Minnesota hidden below Evelyn's Wine Bar & Bistro. A Speakeasy (also called blind pig or blind tiger) was a hidden spot to get a drink during the Prohibition in the 1920s. Today's Speakeasys are often small and almost impossible to find bars with an intimate crowd and traditional prohibition-style cocktails. Muffy's will serve specialty cocktails and small plate appetizers and will officially open to the public the weekend of June 28 and will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 5:00PM to 11:00PM.
