Hi, I'm Kurt. I record/release/perform music as The Broadest Blue (see Spotify, YouTube, or wherever you listen to music). I'm looking for the right place, and the right engineer to record my next album with. Are you into Pet Sounds, SMiLE, Sgt. Pepper, Aphex Twin, Debussy and Ravel, Sufjan Stevens (Michigan/Seven Swans/Illinois era)—or at least a couple of those? Those are the biggest influences on my writing and on some things I hope to accomplish in the studio. If these things excite you, I'd love to work with you. As seen from these photos from my previous album's recording, I like to get some high quality photos in the studio (hiring a photographer myself), which means you also get some great new shots of your studio in action, for free. Preferred, but not dealbreakers: -Some high arched/angled ceilings for the acoustics -Analog recording gear (I'll do the whole thing on tape if we can) -Mellotron (the unicorn) Hoping to begin mid-to-late January 2022.
