LOWELL, MA — A Boston woman was killed in Lowell Friday, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Lowell Police Superintendent Kelly Richardson confirmed Saturday.
Police found Dejah Jenkins-Minus, 22 of Boston, with signs of apparent trauma Friday morning. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled her death a homicide by multiple sharp force injuries Saturday.
Lowell Police found Jenkins-Minus at a Llewelyn Street residence while conducting a well-being check at the request of someone who knew her, the officials said.
Officials do not believe the homicide was a random incident.
State and Lowell police and the District Attorney's office are investigating the incident.
