WAUKESHA, WI—Three children remain in serious condition in Children's Wisconsin Hospital after being injured Nov. 21 in the Waukesha Christmas Parade, the hospital announced Sunday. The hospital treated 18 kids after police say a man drove an SUV through the barricades and drove through a crowd of people at the parade in Waukesha. Six people were killed and more than 60 injured. One of those killed was 8-year-old Jackson Sparks, who died from his injuries at the hospital Tuesday. The hospital said a ninth child was discharged on Sunday and returned home. Seven children injured in the parade are still at Children's Wisconsin. Their conditions are as follows: Three in serious condition Three in fair condition. One in good condition. Darrell Brooks Jr., 39, has been charged with five counts of first-degree intentional homicide in connection to the parade, court records showed. Authorities said they intended to file a sixth charge after Sparks' death. Brooks is accused of intentionally driving the SUV through a police barricade and through crowds of people at the Christmas parade.
