Southern Oaks celebrates the most wonderful time of the year together, on Saturday, December 18th at 5pm. Young and old gather to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year in classic time-honored traditions! Ol' St. Nick has set aside time to visit with families of Southern Oaks. Line up with your Christmas lists beginning at 5:30! The hayride caroling tradition is back in Southern Oaks. Join your neighbors on continuous rides as you serenade the streets of our neighborhood with the sounds of yuletime carols. At 5:30pm, the choir of St. Luke's Church will perform Christmas hymns on stage to usher in the holiday spirit. The outdoor theater will show a montage of Christmas favorites from films, television, and concerts ending in a showing of the modern classic movie "Elf" at 7pm. Food trucks will be on site. Oakie the Elf is hiding around Southern Oaks. Beginning December 1st, Oakie will be popping up in a new spot every odd numbered day. Track his movements and bring your list to the neighborhood party on December 18 for a prize! NOTES: Please bring chairs and blankets to comfortably enjoy all the evenings events. Northglen will be closed between Sweetbriar and Buckwood. THIS EVENT IS FOR SOUTHERN OAKS RESIDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES ONLY.
