Description

We are a high-volume custom crating, packaging, and shipping company looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager who enjoys managing people and processes in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your team (anywhere from 10-15 employees) is responsible for building crates and packaging items in our warehouse. As the Warehouse Manager, your job is to: • Assess and distribute work assignments on a daily basis • Monitor employees work ensuring instructions and processes are being followed, work is of high quality, and deadlines and commitments are being met • Provide feedback, instruction, coaching, counseling and/or corrective action to employees in the areas of job performance, attendance, conduct, and safety • Handle employee concerns • Maintain a safe work environment by overseeing cleanliness of warehouse, general maintenance of equipment, and adherence to established safety guidelines • Actively participate in all meetings and daily huddles and work closely with other departments to ensure everyone is working together to meet company commitments • Monitor warehouse processes and offer ideas and recommendations for improved efficiency and increased productivity, participate in problem resolution • Participate in the selection, hiring, and on-boarding of warehouse employees Qualifications: • At least one year supervising / managing employees in a warehouse or similar environment • Outstanding people management skills – you are comfortable providing feedback, instruction, and direction and not afraid to hold employees accountable • Great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to create an engaged team and an environment that encourages respect, teamwork, communication, quality, and productivity • Understanding of warehouse operations to include workflow, quality, and safety • Ability to analyze data and review information to make suggested changes to improve operational performance • Working knowledge of a Microsoft office-based computer environment • Strong work ethic, flexibility, and willingness to change direction and focus as business needs dictate Pay and Benefits: • Salary: $50,000 – $53,000 DOE • Paid time off; holidays, sick, vacation • Health benefits to include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance – employer pays a portion • Retirement savings plan with company matching If interested, please email your resume.
