Here are the top stories in Buffalo today: A 23-year-old Buffalo man pleaded guilty on Monday to fatally shooting a man last year in the City of Buffalo. On July 1, 2020, just before 10 p.m., Mario K. Washington, Jr. shot 28-year-old Shariff Jackson while he was sitting inside of a vehicle in a parking lot in the 1200 block of Delaware Avenue. Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene. (WGRZ.com)The post office on Williams Street in Buffalo is one of many preparing to deliver many tidings of joy on time. This holiday season, workers will see a 40% increase in the number of packages coming in. The Williams Street office is open 24 hours a day so workers will be there seven days a week to be prepared to get gifts out on time.
