Here are the top stories today in Irving: A woman was found shot to death inside an Arlington apartment early Monday morning. Police responded to a report from a neighbor saying the door to the residence was open. Upon investigation, police discovered the door appeared to have been forced open, and a body was inside the home. An investigation is underway. (CBS Dallas / Fort Worth) Arlington's historic Old Mineral Well was once the town's center of life. It was constructed in 1893 but was razed in the 1950s to make way for traffic.
