HOBOKEN, NJ — A Union City man faces numerous criminal drug and alcohol-related charges after he was arrested last week after his vehicle hit two parked cars before he was apprehended by Hoboken Police.
Osiris Mosley, 39, was arrested after police noticed his car disabled in the middle of the street in the 200 block of Jackson Street., police said. When a Hoboken police officer approached the car, Mosley drove off and moments later, hit a parked car in the 300 block of Jackson Street, police said.
Police said Mosley did not stop and hit another parked car a block later, disabling the car he was driving. Mosely was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and vials with red caps containing what police believe to be crack cocaine. Police also found an open beer in the vehicle officers believed Mosley to intoxicated at the time of his arrest.
Mosley was charged with driving under the influence as well as motor vehicle summonses failure to comply with officer's directions, open alcoholic container in a motor vehicle, possession of controlled dangerous substance in a Motor Vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident, and reckless driving.
Mosley was also charged on a summons with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest.
