Here are the top stories in Sacramento today: The Yolo Bypass along northbound Interstate 5 was completely blocked Monday morning due to a messy crash involving an overturned big rig. The crash happened a little before 7:30 a.m. Monday just north of County Road 22. Cars were diverted onto County Road 22. The big rig apparently swerved and then crashed onto its side β€” leaving part of the vehicle hanging off the side of the bypass. At least one other vehicle appears to have been involved. (CBS Sacramento) Here is a list of Hanukkah events in the area this week:Nov. 30: Menorah lighting at DOCO in the West Plaza at 5 p.m. Nov. 30: Menorah lighting at the Palladio in Folsom starting at 6:30 p.m.Dec. 2: Menorah lighting at the El Dorado Hills Town Center starting at 6:30 p.m.Dec. 5: There will be a car menorah parade starting at Chabad Jewish Community Center at 3:30 p.m. The cars will parade to the Menorah lighting at the State Capitol, which will begin at 5:30 p.m.For more details on these events, visit the Chabad Jewish Community Center's website here. A winning Powerball ticket for $1,675,676 was sold at Lichine's Liquor & Deli on South Land Park Drive in Sacramento over the weekend. Congratulations to whoever purchased that one! (CBS Sacramento) A man detained hours after a shootout between a gunman and a Sacramento police officer is believed to be the same person who prompted the initial 911 call, police confirmed on Monday. Officers got several reports around 9 a.m. Sunday of a man with a gun near 63rd Street and Lemon Hill Avenue. When they arrived, the man shot at an officer. The officer returned fire. No one was hurt in the gunfire. The Sacramento Police Department said Sunday after setting up a perimeter to search for the suspect in the gun battle that the man was found hiding in the area and was detained. (KCRA3)A new state-of-the-art sports complex is scheduled to be built in the Del Paso Heights neighborhood of Sacramento. Robertson Park will soon undergo a revitalization that includes the new sports complex. Project leaders say the project will create a regional draw to the neighborhood and become a catalyst for economic growth. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Monday.
