If you looking to earn some extra income for a family vacation, school debt, or you are a huge fan and would like to work in this fast-paced environment please follow the instructions below. The Comic-Con will be held at the Washington State Convention Center 800 Convention Place Seattle, WA 98101-2350 SHOW HOURS Wednesday, Dec 1, Set-up Thursday, Dec 2, 10 am to 7 pm Friday, Dec 3, 10 am to 7 pm Saturday, Dec 4, 10 am to 7 pm Sunday, Dec 5, 10 am to 7 pm +Breakdown. we will finish between 10-11 pm **VIP's get onto the show floor 30 Minutes before regular attendees on Saturday & Sunday!** The new hires will assist with sales, set-up, and breakdown of our booth. Experience in sales is preferred but I will train staff if I find you have excellent communication skills. I require people with the gift of gab, I will teach you how to sell. I also need the applicant to... -take direction from supervisors -be self-motivated, friendly, with a good mix of people skills -must have the ability to think on their feet with effective communication skills. -simple math is required without the aid of a cellphone calculator. The applicant will be required to assist customers, keep their station clean and orderly, assist co-workers and help with loss prevention, etc. The job description includes any other task required to run a successful booth within the convention. The pay is $17 - $19 cash per hour. I reward hard work, employees who exceed our expectations are paid more than weaker employees. Everyone will be required to work the entire weekend, an exception must be arranged prior to being hired, otherwise, we will cash you out at the State Minimum. We work as a team and require all the positions to the end. Other benefits include 40% off any merchandise you wish to purchase on Sunday. We ask that you pack a lunch, snacks & water, but a set time to eat will be determined by the crowd. Dress code= A pair of comfortable shoes and appropriate attire (t-shirt or golf shirt and long pants). All applicants will receive an exhibitors pass which will allow you to enjoy the after-hours activities.
