Colorado requires food safety manager training and certifications are something your local health inspector will ask to see. Even if you already provide food safety training, ServSafe® is an update on current food safety regulations and procedures. You will be able to become certified in a nationally recognized program from the National Restaurant Association. You will receive: Seven hours of food safety trainingServSafe® Manager BookOpportunity to earn National Restaurant Association CertificationIf you have a disability needing accommodation or have special dietary needs, call 719-276-7390 at least 1 week prior to class. Training Schedule 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Registration 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Training 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Lunch - Bring a sack lunch with you 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Training 5:00p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Certification Exam After registration and payment are received, we will mail your book, instruction letter, and a pre test to you. To succeed in the class and passing the exam, it is important for you to cover material on your own before attending the class. Please review all chapters prior to the training. Instructors will cover a great deal of the information, but it is possible there will be questions on the test that are not covered during class. It would be to your best advantage to be very familiar with the coursebook. You must bring your coursebook with you to the training. It contains the score sheet you will need to use in order to take the certification exam. Do not remove this bubble sheet. It is your only copy. Face coverings are required. Class space may be limited based on changing public health guidelines.
