LA GRANGE, IL — La Grange released its latest police blotter Monday. Here is information from the reports: Eric Patterson, 18, of Chicago, was arrested about 2 a.m. Nov. 21 at 47th Street and Sixth Avenue on charges of DUI and improper parking. An officer was alerted to Patterson after seeing him stopped for a long time at an intersection. A black Schwinn bicycle was reported stolen Nov. 22 in the 200 block of Sawyer Avenue. The bike was taken sometime in the last two months. It is valued at $570. A resident in the 1000 block of South Spring Avenue told police Nov. 22 that someone stole the resident's identity and attempted to make several purchases using it at three downtown stores. The suspect was denied four times, but was able to make one purchase for $5,500. The victim reported no financial loss. A rearview mirror was damaged overnight Tuesday in the 10 block of South Waiola Avenue. A resident in the 200 block of North Kensington Avenue told police Friday that someone opened a Visa credit card in the resident's name. The victim reported no financial loss. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
