Deerfield Community, My family and I are excited to announce our new Egg Harbor Café location coming to Deerfield Commons in early December. We have watched the Village of Deerfield evolve over the last 35 years through regular visits with my in-laws, Mike and Wendy Mospan, who raised their three sons in Deerfield during their several decades as residents in the area. We've been very impressed with the sense of community we've observed over this time, so we were thrilled when we were approached with this opportunity. With the development of Deerfield Commons, we were inspired by the investment in creating a true downtown gathering place for the community, combining restaurants, up-scale grocery, and boutique businesses. We believe this will make the Commons an ideal meeting place for friends, families, and businesses to create commerce and connections. As a family-owned and operated business, we have been working hard to navigate the many issues facing the restaurant industry nowadays, and we feel we are prepared to meet the challenges of the post-COVID era with optimism and excitement. We look forward to making ourselves a bigger contributor to village centers like Deerfield. Egg Harbor has always fancied itself as the "Cheers" of the breakfast business for each community we serve, and we are excited to get open in the old Josh's Hot Dog space adjacent to Whole Foods for the holiday season 2021. The Deerfield location will have our upgraded branding and will be offering delicious Mimosas (including Strawberry Mimosas) and Bloody Marys, as well as a fully stocked barista bar so you can enjoy some of your favorite drinks while you dine. We feel our newly branded locations offer something for everyone in the communities. As a multi-generational community, Deerfield provides us a great depth of consumers that we look forward to serving; for some this may be their first time at an Egg Harbor Café, while others may have become familiar with one or more of our other locations over the last 35+ years. We hope that we can now earn your business in this exciting new location that we expect to open in early December.
