Description
We are rehoming our 1 year old female mostly GSD mix (we had the genetic testing done - happy to pass along).
She has a fantastic temperament- barks at strangers but hasn’t bitten people, family focused, loves to play, crate / house trained, and quickly learns the names of her toys and other commands. She really wants to be playmates with our two cats 🤣 and has done beautifully at the large-dog dog park, where she joins in her favorite game “can you catch me” and her second favorite game “can I catch you”. She’s up to date on her shots, frontline, and heartgard.
The problem is that she is increasingly aggressive (biting /shaking/prey drive) toward our older, female cockapoo. The aggression has escalated to the point where we can’t have them in the same space without worrying about our older dog’s safety, and that means that our GSD is spending an unfair amount of time in her crate.
We’re less concerned about a rehoming fee than we are about finding a happy fit for her. Everyone dreams of finding the magical fenced in backyard, but we’ve found that she’s equally happy on the 60’ tie out set up we have for her, and if need be she can bring it to her new home.
A rehoming fee is being asked, but negotiable depending on circumstances and which of her supplies you want her to bring along, such as her tie outs, harnesses, crate, meds, etc…
Email is fine but text — six —1 zero too nine five 3 won ate 8 — is better for fast response. No calls please.
