Bigger and better than last year, Peppermint Parkway is a one-mile drive-thru experience where friends and family can throw on their comfy pajamas, pile in the car, and experience a magical adventure through a parkway of sparkling lights and live performers! Guests can even drive a lap around the Formula 1 race track! You’re invited to be part of this fun, socially distanced holiday event offering millions of holiday lights, COTA-karting, a zip-line, train and amusement park rides, and so much more. EVENT DETAILS As a Peppermint Parkway “Elf”, you will be stationed in the entrance tent, welcoming guests every night from 5:30 PM – 10 PM! Job duties include scanning tickets, scanning card payments, handing maps and pre-packaged concessions to guests in their cars, and most importantly presenting a warm, high-energy, “holly jolly” welcome to Austin families! You will be integral to creating the Peppermint Parkway Guest Experience. Dress code is dark blue jeans and tennis shoes – a shirt will be provided for you to keep! Pay is $16+ per hour with additional perks such as snacks, dinner, and other surprises throughout the event. The Parkway is open on 12/24 and 12/25. If you choose to work on these days, you will be paid time and a half! Shifts are 5:30 PM – 10 PM each day. Applicants should have reliable transportation to the Circuit of the Americas and be comfortable standing and walking for the majority of their shift. This event runs every day THROUGH Sunday, December 26! There are no required dates, but applicants must be available to work at least 10 days for the duration of the project.
