Two campaigns have come together to hire a team of paid signature collectors for citizen initiative petitions. Maine Healthcare Action is promoting a Universal Healthcare Resolve to go on the Maine state ballot for 2022 and Our Power is promoting publicly owned utilities for the 2022 ballot as well. The collection period is from now until January 19th. The healthcare initiative will pay $2.50/signature with the potential increase depending on the number of signatures turned in weekly. Collect more and make more money. Our Power is paying $3/signature. Weekly turn-ins are on Mondays in South Portland and we cut a check right there. $5.50/signature in total.
