Six River Farm is NOW HIRING for a Farmers Market position! Six River Farm is a diverse, organic vegetable farm entering its 16th year in operation. We sell year round at farmers markets’ as well as restaurants and grocery stores in the area and very much value our relationships with our customers. We are seeking an individual to join our farmers’ market crew on Saturday’s at the Ft. Andross Winter Market in Brunswick. The ideal applicant is someone who enjoys working in a fun, fast- paced environment, can lift up to fifty pounds regularly, and who has excellent organizational and customer service skills. Interested individuals must also be punctual and good at quick basic addition. We are hiring for a Saturday market position starting December 11th and going through the end of April. Hours are 7am-1pm. The position entails meeting at the market in Brunswick and working to set up, stock, sell and tear down at the market. Starting pay is $15/ hour plus a $10 market credit each market. Additional work at the farm in Bowdoinham and at farmers’ markets in the spring and summer may be available for interested applicants.
