We are seeking experienced 1099 Fiber Installers in the Dane County, WI market. If you are a safe crew, with excellent customer service skills who does quality work, you are exactly who we are looking for and we'd love for you to apply! The Details: Crew of 3 desired MDU fiber projects projected to last for over a year Primarily retrofitting with some new construction Fiber pullers/splicers- Need at least 3 people per crew Pay is based on experience and performance, how many fiber lines are pulled and terminated with a passing test, quality assurance standards met Work will be in apartment buildings, assisted living homes, and commercial business properties The Responsibilities: Number / label each fiber-jacket Bring fiber from the outside of the building / demarcation point to each interior unit Drill holes, use a saw/ utility knife, add a cut-out box, and wall-plate Cut, clean and splice/terminate end/ ends Make sure everything is sealed, clean-up, turn off lights, lock door, etc The Qualifications and Considerations: You must pass a background, drug test, interview, etc before starting work. Background checks can take up to two weeks depending on how many places you have lived. You must have a vehicle that is mechanically sound, hand and power tools, safety equipment, and all the necessary tools to complete the task.
