* Full Benefits * Competitive Pay * Great location * The Risk & Claims Analyst ensures that moderately complex general liability and automobile liability claims are resolved in a timely manner. This position collaborates with the Safety Department on incident investigations, as well as with other departments to secure incident reports, request investigative documentation and evaluate open claims for resolution. The Risk & Claims Analyst also identifies, evaluates and provides recommendations to manage risk. Bachelor’s degree or five years of claims handling experience At least one year of experience managing general liability claims At least five years of experience managing automobile liability claims Excellent verbal and written communication in English Requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment without exceeding authority. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite – e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to filter and sort data and to create, edit and use formulas in Microsoft Excel Ability to perform multiple tasks at once and to prioritize workload Professional appearance and demeanor High level of interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced team environment Experience handling sensitive or confidential information Excellent attention to detail Ability to take the required courses to maintain licensing Must have reliable transportation Bilingual in English and Spanish At least two years of experience working in an internal corporate risk management department, risk retention group or brokerage Advanced Excel skills – e.g. pivot tables, V-lookup Insurance industry designations – e.g. CPCU, AIC, ARM, CRM Valid Texas Class C driver’s license; Motor Vehicle Report with a clean driving record for the past five years; Valid Texas Multi-Line Adjuster license *Texas Disposal Systems is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
