Cherry Creek Door and Window Company began as a wood window and door manufacturing company in 1978. Our original products were developed to match and maintain the look and charm of older Seattle homes while updating the efficiency and function. We maintain our specialty focus on replacement windows for pre-1940 Seattle homes but have come a long way since Vashon and now offer a wide variety of products for homeowners and builders suited to various architectural styles. We are looking for an install assistant to join our field operations team. This person's primary responsibilities would be to assist our installers on site with Set up and take down Retrieving tools and product for the installers The bottom line is that you're here to help. This is an entry-level position, with on the job training, the more you pick up and the faster you do it, the more opportunities for growth will come your way. Install Assistant Location: Varies by Jobsite | Typically within Seattle/Bellevue Hours: Varies by Jobsite | Typically 7am - 4pm Overview: All of our installers work in finished homes, you must be able to work from the interior and exterior of the home. Install assistants are an entry-level position does not require previous construction or carpentry experience; however a candidate must commit to being punctual, reliable and willing to perform the less glamorous tasks required. This position contributes to the success of each project by filling in as needed and being a second set of hands for our installers. This is a training position, and install assistants must be willing to take direction. Reports To: This position reports directly to the Install lead and Install coordinator Responsibilities: Maintain a clean worksite Assist the installers on site as needed Identify and retrieve tools, materials, windows, equipment and parts as needed Qualifications: Must have a valid driver’s license Some experience working in general labor field preferred Basic understanding of jobsite safety preferred Some experience working with hand and power tools preferred Friendly, helpful, confident & engaging personality Clear customer service focus Travel Requirements: Local travel will be required. Most of our job sites are within the city of Seattle. But on a rare occasion there may be a site outside of our typical service area.
